The CT6-P sensor is an outdoor temperature (weather) sensor designed to work with boiler controllers. It is used to support the combustion process control by selecting the appropriate heating curve. The sensor consists of a measuring element enclosed in a sealed housing with a gasket. The housing's protection class is IP65, providing high protection of the measuring element against moisture, water, and sunlight. Inside the sensor housing, there is a terminal for connecting the cable that links the outdoor sensor to the controller. The sensor is designed for outdoor installation. The best installation location is the coldest wall in a roofed area. It is necessary to install if you want to automatically switch the boiler to SUMMER/WINTER mode and if you want to automatically regulate the building temperature via a heating curve and a mixer with an actuator.
