The single-phase connection box with automatic switchover to the PV-POINT supply for the GEN24 inverter enables continuous power supply to backup circuit loads. In a standard setup, when the power grid operates correctly, the inverter's PV-Point connector is disabled and only activates during a grid failure. This forces the user to physically reconnect devices previously powered by the grid to separate circuits supplied by the inverter's PV-Point. Thanks to the connection box with automatic switchover, backup-powered circuits can be permanently connected. They will be supplied both during normal grid operation and in the event of a grid failure. The energy to power the backup circuits can be sourced from a battery storage system connected to the inverter, as well as from instantaneous power generated by the photovoltaic modules.
