The DC Connection Switchgear with 1000V Type 1+2 Surge Arrester, 1x PV String, 1x MPPT (8T) by KENO features a maximum discharge current of 40 kA. The device has an IP65 rated enclosure, Stäubli MC4 panel receptacles, and a voltage protection level of ≤ 3.5 kV.
This 1 string PV switchgear is designed to protect photovoltaic installations on the DC side. The component is equipped with a T1 / T2 surge arrester, which protects the system against the effects of lightning strikes and switching surges. The design is based on an 8-module enclosure, adapted to operate in a wide range of operating temperatures from -25 to +60 ºC. Safe and quick wire connection is facilitated by built-in panel receptacles in the Stäubli MC4 standard.
