KENO DC connection box with Noark 1000V Type 1+2 DC surge arrester, 3x PV string, 3x MPPT protects the installation against lightning strikes thanks to a maximum discharge current of 40 kA. The device features factory MC4 Stäubli panel connectors, an IP65 protection rating, and IK08 mechanical impact resistance.
This ready-to-connect PV connection box serves as dedicated photovoltaic protection on the direct current side. The product supports up to three independent module strings by being equipped with MC4 Stäubli panel connectors. The internal Type 1+2 surge arrester protects circuits from the effects of direct and indirect lightning strikes, operating at a maximum continuous voltage of 1000 V. The entire unit is enclosed in a sealed housing, adapted to work in temperatures from -25 to +60 ºC.
