Proper photovoltaic protection is the foundation of stable and safe operation of the entire system. The presented product, used among others as a 2-string PV combiner box, supports up to four input strings of solar modules and allows outputting signals to two independent MPPT inputs. The whole unit is integrated into an IP65 rated enclosure, which physically isolates the equipment from moisture and dust. It utilizes MC4 Stäubli panel connectors and surge arresters designed for continuous voltages of up to 1170 V DC.
