The three-phase KENO DC+AC combiner box with a 1000V type 2 surge arrester ensures safe operation of two PV strings with a maximum discharge current of 40 kA. The device features an IP65 protection rating, MC4 Stäubli panel connectors, and is adapted to operate in temperatures from -25 to +60 ºC.
The three-phase KENO combiner box is designed to protect photovoltaic installations against the effects of power surges. As a complete PV combiner box for 2 strings, it integrates DC and AC side protection in a single enclosure. The use of type 2 surge arresters for DC and AC allows for stable system operation with a continuous operating voltage of up to 1170 V. The design utilizing factory connectors significantly facilitates wiring on the module side.
