The 2-string PV combiner box enables the correct connection of DC and AC circuits in solar installations. The presented 2-string PV DC AC 1000V combiner box protects equipment against the effects of power surges thanks to built-in type 1+2 surge arresters with a maximum discharge current of 40 kA. The class II protection design operates in a wide temperature range from -25 to +60 ºC, which facilitates the selection of the final installation site. The use of dedicated Stäubli MC4 panel receptacles speeds up the cable connection process.
