The KENO DC/AC combiner box with a Type 2 600V DC surge protector supports 2x PV string, offering a rated insulation voltage of up to 1500 V DC. The design is equipped with two 16 A 1000 V disconnect switches, a Type A 30 mA RCD, and an IP65 protection class enclosure.
Proper execution of a photovoltaic installation requires the use of components protecting against surges and electric shock. The presented 2-string PV DC/AC 1000V combiner box allows for independent connection and protection of two circuits on separate MPPT inputs. The design uses factory-fitted MC4 Stäubli panel receptacles, which streamlines assembly work. The device is enclosed in a sealed housing that ensures resistance to changing weather conditions and solar radiation over a wide operating temperature range from -25 to +60 ºC.
