The DC+AC combiner box with Noark 1000V Type 1+2 surge arrester, 1 x PV string, 1 x MPPT by KENO features a maximum discharge current of 40 kA. The compact enclosure weighing 2.7 kg has 12 modular spaces and an IP65 protection rating protecting the interior.
The factory-wired 1-string PV combiner box by KENO is used to protect photovoltaic installations against surges. The device integrates the DC section with a Type 1+2 surge arrester and the AC section with a Type 2 surge arrester (10 A for a three-phase network). The enclosure is designed to operate in a wide temperature range from -25 to +60 ºC, which facilitates the selection of an optimal installation location. The design allows for the safe connection of a single module string using proven MC4 Stäubli panel connectors.
