The KENO PV combiner box is designed for installation in DC circuits of solar systems. The installed components act as photovoltaic protection against the effects of overvoltages and lightning discharges. The design is based on the Dehn Type T1/T2 DC surge arrester, which supports up to six independent module strings connected to six MPPT inputs. The enclosure features an IP66 protection class, allowing operation in dusty environments exposed to water jets at temperatures from -40 to +80 °C.
