The KENO combiner box with DEHN DC surge arrester 1000V type 1+2, 3x PV string, 3x MPPT + 3x DC disconnector 4P 16A 1000V, overcurrent prot. 6x15A features a nominal discharge current of 20 kA. The device is equipped with MC4 Stäubli panel receptacles, protection class II, and an IP65 rated enclosure.
The presented KENO PV combiner box is used to connect and protect direct current circuits in solar installations. The design supports three independent module strings, cooperating with systems equipped with 3x MPPT. Properly selected photovoltaic protection in the form of a T1 / T2 type DC surge arrester protects the system against the effects of lightning discharges. The class II insulation enclosure is adapted to operate in temperatures ranging from -25 to +60 °C.
