The surface-mounted 1-string PV combiner box is designed to protect DC circuits in photovoltaic installations. The branded type 2 surge protective device used in it protects against the effects of switching surges. The design features full resistance to UV radiation and can operate stably in a wide temperature range from -25 to +60 ºC. The component is technically adapted to handle a single string of panels using market-proven push-in snap connectors.
