The Sonel CMP-3000 belongs to a new generation of clamp meters. It combines innovative solutions, durability, and modernity. This is determined by its equipment and capabilities. The standard flexible clamps (Rogowski coil) with a diameter of up to 160 mm ensure easy and safe AC current measurements up to 3000 A, significantly streamlining tests on busbars or in industrial switchgears. The clamps connect to the meter via a 170 cm cable. This enables the CMP-3000 to operate away from live components. The user can also maintain greater distance and control thanks to the Sonel Multimeter Mobile application. It provides communication with the meter via the Bluetooth interface. Using it, the CMP-3000 can be used as a data logger, and moreover, you can continuously monitor parameters, save results, create reports, or remotely control special functions – e.g., INRUSH current measurement. The hard clamps of the meter were designed to facilitate testing in hard-to-reach and tight spaces. A distinctive protrusion at the top of the jaws houses a non-contact voltage detector – simply touch it to a wire and observe if the diode in the instrument body lights up, indicating voltage detection. In response to the needs of our customers, we have provided a range of amenities in the device. The meter is equipped with a flashlight illuminating the measurement site, as well as a rubberized housing increasing grip reliability and mechanical strength.
